The book is "okay" but NOT great.It covers to many models/years; pain to read some sections. I could "x out" 1/2 the book with the sections that don't apply -and really should so it would be less frustrating when you realize you just read a paragraph that didn't apply.In one place, it was absolutely wrong. In changing out the thermostat, and reading several times over, I decided to ignore the book. It said my year/make/model had the thermostat at the bottom of the engine (lower hose). In looking at the motor, and having done the job on several vehicles, I removed the upper hose and housing. The thermostat was indeed at the top; not the bottom.
This is a thoroughly written manual. Not for the beginner though, which is my fault. The illustrations could also be clearer. Difficult to see detail. But, I'm sure for an experienced car buff, it would be an excellent reference.
Book is an excellent addition for auto-mechanics. From pictures and descriptions, it won't fail you during your repair work. My father only buys these manuals, he's a Licensed Mechanic and NYSCI. When he needs help, he turns here. These manuals aren't for beginners.
Does what you would expect from Haynes...you need to be a gear head to use this manual not for first timers...but if you just want to change your oil it will help you do that well.
Meh...not really as informative as the older manuals. I have a wk2 2011 grand cherokee overland, and they basically just added the picture of the newer jeep and used older content.
Does not cover my 2014 jeep Cherokee limited with a 3.2 l
