The Five Anchors of Cyber Resilience is one of the best literature to sensitize business leaders towards a balanced strategy on cyber risk management, i.e. cyber resilience. The book contains golden nuggets for anyone tasked with thought leadership on cyber risk management across the board. The book’s core message is anchored on these two critical questions: 1) why are some enterprises able to withstand cyber stresses while others are hacked into bankruptcy? 2) Why can some companies bounce back as quickly as they are taken down? Each of the five anchors of cyber resilience give detailed answers to these questions utilizing a combination of real-life cybersecurity incidents and example scenarios that strike straight at the heart of the matter. The book not only told the story of the issues but also proffered suggestions and pointed to a treasure trove of solutions available to those tasked with managing cyber risk. This book is top on my list of reference literature on cyber risk management. I strongly recommend it.

Arrive in a timely manner. Good read, although I’m just string started

A well-researched book that is rich with real life examples of how cybersecurity is affecting our daily lives both at home and in the workplace. This book is not only reserved for technical IT people but can easily resonate with a laymen interested in knowing more about the impact of cybersecurity on society.May favourite chapter was “Baking CYBERSECURITY into innovative programs” where the author discusses the security challenges enterprises face when deploying emerging technologies like IoT (Internet of Things), Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain. Interesting examples of these were the CIA developing a tool to remotely hack Samsung Smart TVs and Microsoft’s blunder in developing an AI robot, called Tay ,that ended up sending wildly inappropriate messages on social media.

A good read giving a current overview of cybersecurity threats and risks. Also, the author offers a good five step remediation plan. Contains good ideas. Worth reading.

Love the way the book is written, must read.
